Shrimp and Broccoli with Honey Garlic Sauce Recipe

This Shrimp and broccoli with honey garlic sauce is a quick and easy dish for any day of the week.

Shrimp & Broccoli with Honey Garlic Sauce - Ingredients

  • 2 lbs of medium shrimp
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2/3 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tsp olive or substitute olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 2 cups uncooked Brown Minute Rice
  • 2 green onions (chopped)


  1. Combine garlic, honey, and soy sauce and whisk together
  2. Place shrimp and half of the sauce in a large ziploc bag
  3. Close bag and and shake until all shrimp is covered in the sauce
  4. Place the bag of shrimp in the refrigerator and marinate for about 15 minutes
  5. Cover the remaining sauce and set aside
  6. While the shrimp is marinating cut up the head of broccoli and steam it for 6-8 minutes
  7. Prepare instant brown rice according to package instructions
  8. Chop the green onions and set aside
  9. Add oil or cooking spray to a large pan
  10. Remove shrimp from marinade and place in the pan (discard used sauce)
  11. Cook shrimp on med-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side
  12. Pour remaining sauce over shrimp
  13. Add the broccoli and green onion and toss everything together
  14. Serve over top of the brown rice
